Group Classes

Group classes are held on Friday evenings (“Not Strictly Ballroom”) at the Leatherhead Theatre and Saturday mornings at either the Leatherhead Parish Church Hall or Leatherhead Institute.
Classes are currently available for beginners/recent beginners and improvers.
Mixer classes – no need to bring a partner as we will be changing partners throughout the class. People often learn more by dancing with different people, plus it can help to build confidence.
Couples classes – for people who come with a partner and will stay with their partner throughout the class.

20:30 – 21:45: Courses (Mixer class) or Supervised Practise. The next courses are as follows:

If you would like to attend a course, but are unable to make all three classes, please contact Gemma Gordon to discuss.
Courses for absolute beginners are for either 4 weeks (Friday evenings) or 6 weeks (Saturday mornings). Over the course you will learn the “hold”, the basics of how to dance effectively with a partner and some basic steps for a variety of dances.
6 week Saturday course (Couples Class):
Dates: Sat 18 Sept to Sat 23 Oct (Beginner Course S1)
Sat 30 Oct to Sat 4 Dec (Beginner Course S2)
Time: 11:30am – 12:45pm
Cost: £54 in advance, £60 on the door. Prices are per person for the full 6 weeks

Time: 7.15 – 8.30 pm
Cost: £36 in advance, £40 on the door - Prices are per person for the full 4 weeks
